Warm Greetings to all the Junior Executives of AAI

Hello Everyone!!!!

Junior Executives - So called FOUNDATION of AAI. When I joined AAI in August 2011 I was introduced by my HOD to the APD and he had mentioned the very same phrase as mentioned above     " Junior Executives are the FOUNDATION of this ORGANISATION " he also inspired us to work hard so as to make the foundation strong and reliable.

APDs address filled me with the inspiration as well as a sense of responsibility but later on as I grew older in this organisation I realised that it was nothing but a gimmick, a sort of mockery.

Even after eight months of joining at present station Jr. Execs of my batch have not been provided with proper Offices. We are asked to occupy visiting chairs in front of our seniors and when some visitors arrive, we are forced to stand in front of them.I think we should ask the management to scrap the word "Executives" from our designation so that atleast we break the virtual fallacy that we are "Executives standing under tree". If such was the crunch of Office space why were we recruited in first place or sent to such station with no office space planned for us for that matter.

I hope by now each one from our batch might be aware of the fact that most of the non-executives are better paid than us. On an average the take home salary of Sr.Suptt. is somewhere between 50K-60K, but the output drawn from these non-executives is NIL.Despite Junior Executives being  placed on a payscale below Sr.Suptts. there is no comparison of the responsibilities of the two posts. Thanks to the HR policies of this organisation, non-executives are being given higher payscales than the executives. The Only PSU where NON-EXECUTIVES are paid more than the EXECUTIVES.

The recent HR Notification that NE-9 will be promoted to E-2 if vacancy permits was the extreme of mental trauma and disrespect that the management of this organisation has been showing towards us. There is no meaning of the Qualification that we have earned, no meaning of the All India Entrance Exam and Interview that all of us had faced. The management is going to promote someone who is under qualified from NE-9 to E-2 bypassing the lame E-1(Jr.Execs). This means someone who was although reluctantly considering us as Seniors will be placed above us as our Seniors.

This notification if implemented will hamper our promotions in the organisation which is already facing issues such as "Merging of Seniority Lists of IAD & NAD".

As mentioned above we have got sufficient reasons to be annoyed at the way HR policies are being implemented in this organisation.

Considering the view that most of us have not completed one year in the organisation, we cannot openly  oppose the management.

But sitting idle is only going to harm us in the long run, atleast we can share our views on this and be united in our approach so that when the Probation Period is over and each one us is Confirmed, we can do something about this.

Please share this with all Jr. Execs who are suffering due to the illogical HR policies of this organisation and do post your views on this.
